About

Half the time I'm spending in second life lately is just reorganizing my inventory. All of my products are boxed up and laying out in-world in order to show up on the search results. Originally I had 3 long rows of about 35 boxes each in no particular order. Updating a product was crazy. I would have to look at each picture on the box or look at the floating text. I've got things alphabetized now. I tried laying them out in categories, but that was too much to go through and would have still had me scratching my head. Although each column is not alphabetized now, they are grouped as such so I'll find things much quicker. I always know the name of the product that I'm looking to upgrade. The next item on my list of things to do will be to get each category server setup one at a time (OnRez, Meta Mart, SLX, JEVN, Apez). Eventually I'll be able to setup 1-prim vendors for specific products next to each product on display down on the ground far below me. Am I making more work for myself then I need to? Perhaps. It's just really hard to get things done without being organized. Crazy thing is, I am never organized. My mind usually ends up jumping on something else to take care of before I'm done.
